The Pulse of Connection and Space

  • Kate Maryon The Lighthouse Bull's Quarries Road, Frome, England, BA11 5BW United Kingdom (map)

This workshop is a non-residential opportunity to explore the possibility of finding safety and pleasure in connection through a deepening awareness of, and value for, the effect of attunement to the natural pulse and play of space in connection.

Timings: 7-10pm Friday 26th January 2024 & 10.30 - 6pm Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th

As social animals, we’re neurologically designed for connection with others, but depending on our early life experience and attachment wounding and styles, we can habitually find ourselves overly-focused on either: an anxious demand for connection - an avoidant pulling away from it - or a confusing mix of both where we long for connection but are fearful of it. All three situations can leave us feeling overwhelmed, under-resourced, and disconnected from our own bodies, needs, borders and boundaries. This workshop is an opportunity to explore the possibility of finding safety and pleas in connection through a deepening awareness of, and value for, the effect of attunement to the natural pulse and play of space in connection.

This experiential programme uses a combination of self-inquiry, stillness, meditation, movement, paired and group exercises. There may be tears, of course, but the light touch we bring will guarantee laughter too - and a rare space of warmth, safety, support and acceptance. So wherever you find yourself on this journey, you are so very welcome to join us.

I keep my groups small because I’m deeply committed to giving everyone the time, attention and support they deserve. If you haven’t worked with me before, you’ll need to have had at least one session with me before I can offer you a place.

Financial Investment: Financial Investment: £190 which includes workshop, beverages and snacks.

Cancellation policy: Once committed, you can cancel up to four weeks prior to the workshop date, after this the full fee will be due even in the event of failure to attend.
