The Shame Game

  • Sunnyside Retreat Bath, England, BA2 7RA United Kingdom (map)

This workshop is an opportunity to explore the crushing effect that shame has on our mental, physical and emotional wellbeing, our creative expression, our choices, and our capacity to fully express ourselves in the world. Together, we’ll reveal the cultural and familial roots of your shame, we’ll tenderly welcome the painful wounds it activates, and explore ways you might relate with it when it arises.

This experiential programme uses a combination of self-inquiry, stillness, meditation, movement, paired and group exercises. There may be tears, of course, but the light touch we bring will guarantee laughter too - and a rare space of warmth, safety, support and acceptance. So wherever you find yourself on this journey, you are so very welcome to join us.

I keep my groups small because I’m deeply committed to giving everyone the time, attention and support they deserve. If you haven’t worked with me before, you’ll need to have had at least one session with me before I can offer you a place.
