Meeting As The Mystery

  • Brimpts Farm Dartmeet Yelverton, England, PL20 6SG United Kingdom (map)

Deep in the heart of Dartmoor, Meeting As The Mystery is an opportunity to explore and embrace the mystery of being - to relax the control function just enough to taste the wisdom and relief of not-knowing.

This experiential programme uses a combination of self-inquiry, stillness, silence, meditation, movement, paired and group exercises. There may be tears, of course, but the light touch I bring will guarantee laughter too - and a rare space of warmth, safety, support and acceptance. So wherever you find yourself on this journey, you are so very welcome to join me.

I keep my groups small because I am deeply committed to giving everyone the time, attention, and support they deserve, and that is necessary for this work. If you haven’t worked with me before it’s essential we have at least one individual session together OR attend a weekend workshop, to ensure that you’re suitable for the retreat and that I’m able to support you.

This retreat is also an opportunity for a total digital detox so please be prepared to complete all work etc beforehand, so you’re ready to unplug. I will provide you with phone number & email for people to contact you in case of emergency. The only exception to this rule is for those who need to contact small children/sick people/elderly parents etc - but this activity needs to be kept to an absolute minimum.

Financial Investment: Financial Investment: £700, which includes all tuition, accommodation, food, beverages & snacks. Non refundable deposit of £100 to reserve your place is due on booking with the balance to be paid by February the 6th. (Minimum of 8 Participants necessary).

Location: Brimpts Farm is a simple retreat centre set in the heart of Dartmoor. The accommodation itself is pretty basic, but all rooms are ensuite, it has an amazing eco heating system that keeps the place toasty warm, a wood-burning stove in the group room, & Sauna & Hot Tub for our exclusive use. The location is absolutely stunning, the cost is very affordable, and, having spent time there myself with my own teacher Adam, I know it works for this work. There are 10 ensuite bedrooms, so depending on numbers it may be that a couple of people will be required to share a room.

Cancellation policy: Once committed (which means you asking to attend and me agreeing and sending you an email confirmation) you can cancel up to six weeks prior to the Retreat, after this the full fee will be payable even in the event of failure to attend - unless we can find someone else to take your place.

CONTACT ME HERE TO RESERVE YOUR PLACE - please remember to tell me which event you’d like to participate in.

Timings: To participate in this Retreat you will need to adhere to the arrival and departure times, which are 11.30am on Monday the 1st March - 3pm on Sunday the 5th. To create a sense of safety in the group there are no exceptions to this, so please don't ask for one. If your travel is delayed on the day, please contact me asap.
