Terms & Conditions
The small print may be tedious but I do ask that you read it through. It is designed so that we all know where we stand. There are 4 sections:
Bookings & Payments
Health & Wellbeing
Your Data & Privacy
Equality of opportunity
Bookings & Payments
By making a booking for a 1:1, Couples, or Family session, Workshop, School event or Retreat, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions laid out below.
Sessions
Please pay prior to your session either online when you book or via BACS transfer - you’ll find my bank details on your confirmation email.
To avoid paying a cancellation fee please let me know your change of plan no less than 24 hours before your appointment.
For last minute cancellations & non-attendance you will be required to pay100% of the full session fee.
Workshop/School or Retreat fees can be paid in full at the time of booking or through an agreed payment plan.
Payment plans are available on request and will be designed to ensure that the full balance has been paid before the workshop, school or retreat begins.
If this work is calling you yet is beyond your means, talk to me. If possible, I will always find a way to help!
Cancellation Terms and Conditions
For my workshops and residential retreats the deposit will usually be non-refundable unless there is a person on a waiting list who can take your place or you can find a suitable replacement to fill the place, in which case we will refund your deposit or transfer it to another workshop or event.
For my workshops and retreats, in the event of cancellation up to two weeks prior, I will refund your deposit or transfer it to another event less a £20 admin charge.
Insurance
In the event of last-minute cancellation, due to unexpected ill health or circumstances that might prevent you from attending your Summer/Winter Workshops & Residential Retreats, I recommend that you take out adequate travel insurance - just as you might do for any holiday.
Health & Wellbeing
You are responsible at all times for your own health & wellbeing. It is your responsibility to inform me of any mental, emotional or physical health problems or disabilities that may be relevant to our work together.
Privacy Policy
I will hold in a database your name, address, contact details and details of the sessions, workshops, schools or retreats you attend. All such data will be collected and transmitted securely using encrypted (https) connections.
I will use this data to stay in touch with you from time to time to inform you of upcoming events. I hate junk mail and promise not to bombard you with emails.
I will never sell or distribute your details to anyone else.
If at any time you want to see what data we hold about you, you want to update your details, or you want to be removed from our database, contact us about this here.
Equality of Opportunity
I respect peoples right to be who they are and we celebrate diversity and difference. I will not discriminate based on any arbitrary grouping made on the basis of race, colour, religious or spiritual beliefs, sexual orientation, class, education, ability, and I'm sure there are other categorisations that have been missed.
We are all humans being and in my work I encourage and promote tolerance, interest and curiosity of difference rather than rejection, alienation and division.
Having said that, I reserve the right to only take on people I deem suitable for this work - If for any reason I choose not to work with you or feel I can’t best serve your needs, then I will do my best to signpost you to someone else.
